Segara Village Hotel Bali was opened in 1967 with only 15 rooms, but as tourism to Bali grew the Balinese owners added quite different accommodation `villages`. Today there are five distinct `village`areas, each with it own style and character. The villages are spread amidst 6 hectares of lush, tropical gardens with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. Up until recently, the resort had been a well-established, three star resort catering primarily to the European and Australian markets. However, given the extensive renovations recently undertaken the hotel has upgraded to four star status with facilities to cater to more international clientele. Keeping true to its Balinese heritage, the architecture and authentic tradition remain, yet the rooms reflect a fresh, contemporary look with cleanliness and bright colors complemented by all the modern convenience expected by today`s holidaymakers. A major investment in exquisite landscaping is evident throughout the spacious grounds.The 17 deluxe rooms in Segara Village Hotel Bali surround a central courtyard swimming pool, so guests literally walk out their door for are freshing dip. The rooms are 45 square meters with a surround sound entertainment centre inclusive of plasma TV with satellite channels and DVD player with surround sound speakers; walk-in closet with mini-bar,tea/coffee making facilities, safe and extra pillows; and spacious bathrooms with separate shower and bathtub. The balconies or terraces are all quite spacious with a daybed and other furnishings.
